  • The luxurious Kai Shun Kohen Anniversary TBS-0220 collector’s set includes two first-class, very high-quality Kai Shun knives: 1 Kai Shun Kohen Chef’s Knife 20 cm and 1 Kai Shun Kohen All-Purpose Knife 15 cm, plus two matching leather sheaths that protect the blades, and a high-quality aluminum case for transport.
  • The Kai Shun Kohen Anniversary Set is limited to 3,000 pieces in Europe and commemorates ten million knives sold in the successful Kai SHUN series.
  • The Kai Shun Kohen knives are provided with a serial number, which makes each Kai Shun Kohen Anniversary set unique.
  • The Kai Shun Kohen Chef’s Knife and Kai Shun Kohen All-Purpose Knife have a uniquely patterned blade made of 72-layer dual-core Damascus steel with a hardness of 60 HRC (�2). KAI SHUN KOHEN ANNIVERSARY SET – CARE

  • Cleaning – Before using it for the first time, rinse the Kai Shun Kohen knives with hot water. After use, clean the knives immediately with water, possibly also with a mild washing-up liquid, whereby the blades should be rinsed with clear water. Then dry the Kai Shun Kohen knives carefully with a soft cloth, always from the back of the knife to the cutting edge for your own protection.
  • The Kai Shun Kohen knives should never be put in the dishwasher, always wash by hand, this protects the material and maintains the longevity of the sharpness. Sharpening and caring – Do not leave the Kai Shun Kohen knives in the water for too long, this will damage the valuable handles in particular.
  • Permanent care also includes oiling the handles and blades from time to time, which keeps both beautiful and attractive even after long use.
  • It is also advisable to sharpen the Kai Shun Kohen knives professionally from time to time to eliminate signs of wear on the cutting edge and maintain the lasting sharpness. However, sharpening steels are completely unsuitable for this purpose due to the high degrees of hardness of Kai Shun Kohen knives. Kai offers suitable tools for every knife in its range, from a traditional whetstone to a complete electrical system.

KAI SHUN KOHEN ANNIVERSARY SET – STORAGE

  • When storing the Kai Shun Kohen knives, make sure that the cutting edge does not come into contact with other metallic objects, which could cause damage to the blade.
