Adams provides with the information contained on this website and advertises and sells the products to you, subject to these terms and conditions. By accessing and using the website, the user agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions set out in this legal notice. The user may not access, display, use, download and/or otherwise copy or distribute content obtained on the website for marketing and other purposes without the consent of the provider. E-Commerce & Privacy
The Website www.adamsdiscount.co.za sells a variety of kitchen goods online. The use of any product bought from this Website is at the purchaser’s risk. The purchaser/ user indemnifies and holds the Provider harmless against any loss, injury or damages which may be sustained as a result of using the products sold on the Website. The private information required for executing the orders placed through the e-commerce facility, namely the User’s personal information and credit card details, delivery address and telephone numbers will be kept in the strictest confidence by the Provider and not sold or made known to third parties. Only the necessary information, that is the delivery address and contact phone number will be made known to third parties delivering the product. The Provider undertakes that it has taken all reasonable precautions to secure the credit card processing that is carried out to receive payment for goods sold. The Provider cannot be held responsible for security breaches occurring on the User’s electronic device (Personal Computer or other electronic device used to browse the Website), which may result due to the lack of adequate virus protection software or spyware that the User may inadvertently have installed on his/her device.

By using this Website or communicating with the Provider by electronic means, the user consents and acknowledges that any and all agreements, notices, disclosures, or any other communication satisfies any legal requirement, including but not limited to the requirement that such communications should be in writing.
Accuracy and Content of Goods
Adams has taken all reasonable steps to ensure that each product described or depicted on this website and any other information (such as pricing) displayed on the website is current, complete and accurate. However content errors may occur. For this reason and if the law allows it, the information displayed on our website is provided without any guarantees, conditions or warranty as to its accuracy. We have made every effort to accurately display the goods specifically with regard to their colour, description and price. Some descriptions or photographs of products and packaging may be of a generic nature and not specific to the particular product you wish to buy. Please remember however that the colours that you see will depend on the device which you are using to access our website and we cannot guarantee that the goods when received will be the exact same colour as you have seen it. We will also not accept any order if there has been a material error as to the price or description of the goods. We will inform you of such errors as soon as we become aware of them. Payment Options
Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, Diners or American Express credit cards or by bank transfer into the Provider’s bank account, the details of which will be provided after checkout.
Credit card acquiring and security
Credit card transactions will be acquired for the Provider via approved payment gateways. Our payment gateways use the strictest form of encryption, namely Mygate,3D secure and no credit card details are stored on the website.
Card acquiring and security Card transactions will be acquired for Adams Discount via PayFast (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. DPO PayFast uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.

What is 3D secure?
3D Secure stands for Three Domain Secure – the payment industry’s Internet authentication standard which has been developed by the major card companies. Visa has called their version of the scheme Verified by Visa and MasterCard have called their equivalent initiative MasterCard SecureCode. These are both collectively referred to as 3D Secure.
Delivery policy
Subject to stock availability with suppliers and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 7 working days and handed over to a courier company for delivery. Unless otherwise specified, delivery is free. In the event that we do not have stock of the particular product, you have ordered it could take up to 4 weeks to receive the item. For very remote areas not serviced by standard couriers, The Provider will deliver via Post Office, or to the nearest town to the User that is accessible by Arimax within their normal routes. In these circumstances, the Provider will be in contact with the User to arrange an alternative address. The Provider will supply all goods to the delivery company in good order and will ensure that goods arrive at the User’s chosen delivery address in the same good order. Cancelled orders on the e-commerce facility will be refunded after the deduction of a 10% charge for administration costs. The Provider reserves the right to cancel an order for which payment has already been received. This may occur if stock is insufficient or the quality of goods ordered does not meet the Provider’s standards. Should the Provider exercise this right, the User will receive a full refund with no deductions. Any complaints regarding the standard and quality of the product or products bought by consumers through the e-commerce facility should be directed to adams@adamsdisount.co.za Where we deliver, Delivery times, and delivery charges should all be clearly stated here. Furthermore, the requirements at the time of delivery should be set out. (Example- please note that our courier company’s driver will ask you for your name, surname and ID on delivery of products. Should you not be available at the chosen delivery address to receive your order at the time of delivery, the driver will make a second attempt and thereafter we will contact you to arrange a suitable time for delivery). The possibility of changing orders, repercussions, etc. should also be discussed here.

Gift Vouchers
Gift Vouchers are not redeemable for cash and will not be replaced if lost, stolen, destroyed, or used without permission. Adams Gift Vouchers cannot be resold to or exchanged with a third party. You cannot use an Adams Gift Voucher to purchase another Adams Gift Voucher. Adams Gift Vouchers can only be redeemed online through www.adamsdiscount.co.za or at our stores in Fourways or Eastrand. Customer details separate from card details Customer details will be stored by the Provider separately from card details. Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. The transaction Currency is South African Rand (ZAR).

We will take all reasonable efforts to ensure that prices reflected on the website are accurate. You will be charged the prices reflected on the website. Cancelation Policy
Unfortunately, you cannot cancel an order if you have already made a payment. In this case, we recommend arranging a refund or return of the unopened item. Simply contact our customer support department for assistance.

Refund/Return policy
If you would like to return your product, we will happily accept your unopened products within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, or a charge of 10% of the order value where applicable, Kindly provide your receipt or purchase number upon refund request.
How to return an item
You may drop off the item at our store, or arrange a courier pick-up with our admin staff. Simply contact our customer support personnel.
How we process your refund
You will be offered a product exchange, voucher or full refund within 1-3 working days of the returned item arriving at our store.
Return of damaged goods
Send an image of the damaged product to our customer support personnel, after which the damage will be assessed. Refunds are processed within 1-3 working days of the returned item arriving at our store. Replacements may take longer as these are dependent on availability.
Un-returnable goods
We cannot accept any perishable goods unless they have arrived expired or are damaged.
Goods purchased with vouchers or gift cards
We cannot refund vouchers or purchases with a voucher to cash. We will either reinstate or issue a new voucher to you.
